IAF Western Command's Jcos Discuss Personnel Welfare, Living Standards
The discussions at the event, held on Monday, centred around creating a positive and conducive environment across the Air Force Stations, it said.
The Station MWOs, while focusing on issues related to welfare and living standards, shared best practices and innovative approaches implemented across their respective stations.
The deliberations, where senior officials were also present, involved efforts to identify areas for improvement, address challenges, and formulate practical solutions to enhance the workplace environment, said the statement.
The Seminar was presided over by Wester Air Command chief, Air Marshal George Thomas, and attended by the JCOs from across the command's Area of Responsibility, it said.
A common platform was provided to share best practices, exchange ideas, and deliberate upon areas for improvement.
Air Marshal Thomas emphasised the vital role of Station MWOs in fostering effective communication, sound professionalism and a welfare-oriented approach in the organisation to create a positive and conducive environment across Air Force Stations.
The seminar reaffirmed the WAC's commitment towards personnel welfare, continuous improvement, and professional excellence, the statement said.
Earlier, the HQ Western Air Command hosted officers of the 55th Higher Command Course. The future military leaders were briefed on operational, maintenance and administrative facets of the frontline air command, said a statement.
They gained key insights into the capabilities and role of the command, with the visit providing valuable exposure to aerospace power's inherent characteristics of being a truly multi-domain force and reinforcing the integration aspects required to execute joint operations in all domains, it said.
