Russian Attacks Shrink Foothold On Right Bank Of Oskol River - Trehubov

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Viktor Trehubov, a spokesperson for the Joint Forces Operation, reported this in a statement to Ukrinform.

“The situation is relatively difficult in the Kupiansk sector, on the left bank of the Oskol, where the Ukrainian Defense Forces are holding a bridgehead under challenging logistical conditions,” he noted.

According to Trehubov, Russian troops are simultaneously attempting to advance on the left bank of the Oskol. Meanwhile, their bridgehead on the opposite, right bank of the river is shrinking.

“The DeepState map currently reflects the situation on the ground quite accurately. The key settlement under their control is Dvorichna,” the spokesperson added.

As reported by Ukrinform, 262 combat engagements between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders were recorded on the front lines over the past day, on September 14.
