Russian Military Casualties Since Start Of Year Exceed 300,000 - General Staff
Since the beginning of the year, Russia has lost 301,030 servicemen killed and wounded.
This number is comparable to the personnel strength of nearly 150 motorized rifle regiments, based on the approximate strength of one regiment-about 2,000 servicemen.
The Russian invaders suffered their heaviest losses this year during the summer-124,170 military personnel. In June, 39,290 were killed; in July, 42,860; and in August, 42,020.
As of the morning of September 15, Russia's losses in September already totaled 20,360 personnel.
As reported by Ukrinform, the total combat losses of Russian troops since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine-from February 24, 2022, through September 15, 2026-amount to approximately 1,510,000 people.
