Takeda Hires Hannah Badri To Lead International Communications


(MENAFN- PRovoke) ZURICH-Japanese pharmaceutical company Takeda has named 13-year Novartis veteran Hannah Badri as vice president and head of communications, international. Badri's experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare space spans corporate communications, executive communications, drug development, financial and crisis communications.

“At a company with extraordinary heritage and at a time of global transformation, our focus is on bringing forward remarkable scientific advancements to patients,” she said in a LinkedIn post about the new appointment, pointing to a recent article in The Economist, suggesting that“The brain may be about to have its Ozempic moment.”

Prior to joining Takeda, Badri spent more than 13 years with Novartis, most recently serving as vice president, corporate communications. She also served for several years as head of communications for the Novartis Venture Fund.

Earlier in her career, Badri spent six years with Roche in international communications for the company's immunology, cardio-metabolism and infectious disease portfolios. She also worked in the corporate and financial practice at Bell Pottinger.
