Deputy Prime Minister And Minister Of State For Defense Affairs Meets Chairman Of UK House Of Commons Defense Committee
London: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan bin Ali Al-Thani met on Monday with HE Tanmanjeet Singh Dhesi, Member of Parliament and Chairman of the Defense Committee in the UK House of Commons, at the British Parliament building in London.
During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and the strategic partnership between the State of Qatar and the United Kingdom, particularly in the military and defense fields, and ways to enhance and develop them.
They also addressed several regional and international issues of common concern, as well as efforts to support security and stability.
The meeting was attended by HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the United Kingdom Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Saud Al-Thani, along with committee members from both sides and a number of senior officers and officials.
