Zelensky Urges Parliament To Act On Laws Needed To Cover Budget Gap
“To close this budget gap and continue the necessary payments, parliamentarians and the Government must work in the most coordinated way possible. The list of laws and government decisions that need to be adopted is absolutely specific. And they must be adopted – this is not about preferences or politics, it is about budget funds for which there is no alternative,” he said.
According to Zelensky, the list includes both popular and unpopular measures, but Ukraine's ability to receive funding from international partners depends on their adoption.
In this regard, he called on the government and the opposition to unite in the interests of Ukraine.
