APCO Hires Harris Poll Veteran Rob Jekielek To Lead Intelligence & AI Growth
Jekielek joins APCO after eight years as a managing director at The Harris Poll, where he focused on corporate reputation and research. His work included modernizing the Reputation Quotient behind the Axios Harris Poll 100, helping turn the annual study into an ongoing system tracking hundreds of companies across more than 20 countries.
He also expanded the system to incorporate signals from search and generative AI platforms
At APCO, Jekielek will lead the continued development and growth of Margy, the firm's adaptive intelligence platform.
“Over the next decade, the binding constraint on most large companies will not be capital or talent. It will be permission, and the foresight to see how it is shifting,” said Imad Lahad, global chair of Intelligence & AI at APCO.“Rob has already helped lead the rebuild of one of the best-known measures of corporate reputation from an annual snapshot into a live system. That shift, from episodic to continuous, is the bet on which Margy is built.”
Margy, which APCO says is already operating across more than 80 markets and 30 languages, combines companies' internal knowledge and data with outside information and signals to help identify changes in areas including regulation, geopolitics, reputation and stakeholder sentiment.
The platform also draws on APCO's proprietary Mental Modeling methodology, incorporating expertise from the firm's International Advisory Council and practitioners across public affairs, communications, reputation, crisis, geopolitics and corporate strategy.
