Acting Jordan Chamber of Industry (JCI) Director General Issam Arabiyat said that the figures indicate relative stability in industrial activity, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He also noted that industrial production recorded positive indicators in July, rising 1.22 per cent compared with the same month in 2025 and 4.61 per cent compared with June.
He highlighted the contribution of manufacturing industries, which account for 88.7 per cent of the industrial production index weight.
Manufacturing production increased 2.01 per cent in July year-on-year and 4.29 per cent compared with June.
The JCI expressed optimism about the sector's performance in the coming months, citing positive industrial export results in 2026 as evidence of sustained demand for Jordanian products and the sector's ability to adapt to regional and international changes.
Arabiyat said that continued export growth and economic activity under Economic Modernisation Vision programmes could further improve industrial indicators by the end of 2026.
