Have Solid Evidence Against Them: Disha Salian's Father On Naming Bigwigs In CBI FIR

(MENAFN- IANS) New Delhi, Sep 14 (IANS) Disha Salian's father Satish Salian on Monday doubled down on his charge that his daughter's death was not a mere accident but a premeditated murder and the city's mighty and privileged people involving the likes of former minister Aaditya Thackeray, actor Dino Morea and more, conspired to cover-up the whole episode.

The alleged murder of celebrity manager Disha Salian came to haunt the city's bigwigs on Monday as the CBI lodged an FIR in connection with her death and named MLA Aaditya Thackeray, actors Dino Morea, Rhea Chakraborty and many other high-profile persons in the case.

A case was lodged by the CBI for gangrape, murder, and criminal conspiracy, after the Bombay High Court directed the investigative agency to probe the case.

"Yes, I have solid evidence against those people," Satish Salian told IANS, when asked if he has concrete evidence against the big names mentioned in CBI FIR.

"I have taken the names of Aaditya Thackeray and his bodyguard, Sooraj Pancholi, Dino Morea, Sachin Waze, Param Bir Singh, and in the cover-up, Rhea Chakraborty before the CBI," he said without holding back.

He also stated that there was a direct connection between the death of Disha and Sushant Singh Rajput and added that the late actor chose to 'reveal the truth' despite anticipating a similar fate.

"Yes, there is a connection. Disha's death was followed by Sushant Singh Rajput planning to hold a press conference, during which he used to say,“Now they will kill me too," Disha's father told IANS.

Disha Salian, the former manager of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, died on June 8, 2020 after falling from a residential building in Mumbai's Malad area. Police had registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) and called it an act of suicide, though his father alleged that his daughter was gang-raped and murdered.

Nilesh Ojha, the counsel in Disha Salian's case, also claimed that her phone was illegally seized after her death, by the then police officers and those involved in the crime and its data and recordings were extracted and erased.

"On June 9, Disha's mobile phone was retained and operated by Sachin Waze, Aaditya Thackeray, and others. They kept the phone in their possession until June 17, after which it was officially shown as 'seized'. During this period, they extracted data to identify who Disha had contacted, who the potential witnesses were, who knew their secrets, and where their vulnerabilities lay," he said.
