Egyptian Foreign Minister, UN Official Discuss Sudanese Crisis, Supporting De-Escalation
Talks addressed the Sudanese crisis' latest developments, in addition to ongoing regional and international efforts to halt the escalation and restore calm, according to a statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry.
It added that both sides stressed the importance of respecting Sudan's sovereignty and supporting efforts aimed at de-escalation and reaching a comprehensive political settlement, as well as ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid and alleviating the suffering of the Sudanese people.
