New Russian Attacks Leave Consumers Without Power In Four Regions Ukrenergo
"The enemy continues to attack Ukraine's civilian energy infrastructure. As a result of Russian strikes, new power outages have been reported this morning in the Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Emergency repair and restoration work is already underway wherever security conditions allow," the statement said.
In addition, consumers in the Mykolaiv region remain without power this morning due to heavy rain and thunderstorms. Repair crews from the regional power distribution company are already restoring the damaged power lines.
As of 09:30 on Monday, electricity consumption was 2% higher than on the previous working day, September 11. This is due to cloudy weather in most regions of Ukraine, which is reducing the efficiency of household solar power plants.
Ukrenergo advises consumers to limit the use of high-power electrical appliances between 18:00 and 22:00.
