Synalogik Completes Pre-Series A Funding And Appoints Peter Irvine As Chief Business Officer

(MENAFN- Pressat) Hereford, UK 14 September 2026: Synalogik Innovative Solutions Ltd (“Synalogik”), the developer of an Intelligence Operating Platform for investigators, compliance and risk professionals, has completed an extension to its Series A funding round, taking total investment in the company to £12.5 million.

The latest funding round was supported by a group of existing and new shareholders. Shareholders include the Mark Blandford family offices; William Currie Group; and Sir Terry Leahy.

Founded in 2018, Synalogik was built around a simple premise: the people who understand the problem should have the power to solve it. Over the last 18 months it has transitioned from being Professional Services led to a SaaS focused business, leveraging its cutting edge AI enabled platform.

Scout® brings together people, data, AI, analysis and workflow in a single governed environment. It enables teams to connect internal, external and open-source information, enrich and analyse it, uncover hidden relationships and risks, automate investigative processes and turn fragmented information into verified, actionable intelligence.

Synalogik's technology has its roots in law enforcement, where the need to connect fragmented information and understand complex relationships is particularly acute. This experience has shaped Scout® and its ability to orchestrate data, analysis and investigate workflows in demanding, highly regulated environments.

The company is now applying this capability across a broader market, including financial crime, fraud, compliance, iGaming, insurance, fintech, financial services and government.

The funding will support the continued development and commercial expansion of Synalogik's flagship Scout® platform, with a particular focus on accelerating the company's sales capability across its target markets.

Peter Irvine appointed Chief Business Officer

As part of the company's expansion, Synalogik has appointed Peter Irvine as Chief Business Officer. Peter brings more than 30 years of experience in the global financial services sector. Most recently, he was a key member of the management team at Acin, the award-winning SaaS-based operational risk platform, which was acquired last year by Cube backed by HG Capital.

Gareth Mussell, CEO of Synalogik, said:

“We are delighted to have the support of both longstanding shareholders and new investors as Synalogik enters its next phase of growth. We have gained excellent traction with some of the biggest companies in the gaming and insurance sectors with our Scout platform as well as becoming the UK's Tier 1 Law Enforcement Data Integration platform of choice.

Our opportunity now is to establish Synalogik as the Intelligence Operating Platform for investigators, compliance and risk professionals. With Peter's experience in scaling SaaS businesses and building sales capability, I am confident we can accelerate our growth across both the public and private sectors.”

Peter Irvine said:

“Synalogik combines deep-rooted expertise in law enforcement with significant investment in technology and AI. Scout® addresses a fundamental challenge for organisations across highly regulated industries - connecting fragmented information and turning it into actionable intelligence. I am excited to join Gareth and the team and help scale the business through its next stage of growth.”

The company is targeting an institutional led Series A funding round in 2027, following anticipated ARR growth across its chosen commercial verticals and further multi-year, multi-million-pound ARR government contracts.

The people who understand the problem should have the power to solve it.
