New ViceVersa Tools Utility Turns Outlook OST Files Into Portable PDF Records

(MENAFN- ViceVersa Tools) NEW DELHI, India — Sept. 14, 2026 – ViceVersa Tools has released a new tool, ViceVersa-OST-PDF-Converter.exe, that pulls data out of an Outlook OST file and saves it as PDF. It's built around the same idea as the rest of the company's catalog — one format pair, handled directly, rather than a bigger tool trying to cover everything.
An OST file is Outlook's offline copy of a mailbox, and it's tied to the profile that created it, which makes it awkward to open or pass along on its own. This tool works around that by loading the OST file, letting someone pick out the folders they need, and converting just those into PDF — a format that's easy to read, print, or send to someone without Outlook access.
It only works in one direction. Once something's been converted to PDF, there's no path back to OST — that's not what the tool is for. Using it is three steps: load the OST file, set PDF as the output, and choose where the converted files should go.
"PDF gets picked when people need something that's going to look the same on any machine, years from now, without depending on Outlook still being around," said a company spokesperson.
The tool runs on Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8, and 7, and Outlook doesn't need to be installed on the machine doing the conversion. A free trial is available through the catalog installer.
