War Update: 208 Combat Engagements On Frontline Over Past Day

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Facebook on the situation as of 08:00 on September 14.

The enemy carried out 90 airstrikes, dropping 286 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces used 11,727 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,872 shelling attacks, 45 of them using multiple-launch rocket systems.

The following settlements came under Russian fire: Sopych, Korenok, Vilna Sloboda, Tovstodubove, Neskuchne, Yastrubine, Pysarivka, Kindrativka, Mohrytsia, Bachivsk, Ulanove, Peremoha, Hirky, Bezzalivka, Rohizne, Neskuchne, Nova Sich, Mariine, Oleksiivka and Mtolpillya in Sumy region; Kliusy, Mykhalchyna Sloboda, Leonivka and Buchky in Chernihiv region. Tovstodubove, Esman and Stetskivka were hit by airstrikes.

The aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces struck two areas where Russian personnel were concentrated, six command posts and UAV launch sites, five artillery systems and artillery positions, as well as one other important target.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk directions, no Russian assault operations were recorded. Russian forces carried out 148 shelling attacks, 10 of them using MLRS, and launched four strikes with 10 guided aerial bombs.

In the South-Slobozhanshchyna direction, Ukrainian units repelled six enemy attacks. The invaders attempted to advance toward Kozacha Lopan, Hrafskе, Volokhivka, and near Lyman and Starytsia.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy launched three assaults toward Kivsharivka.

In the Lyman direction, Russian forces attacked three times near Novosergiivka and Novoselivka.

In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy launched eight assaults near Yampil, Ozerne, Kryva Luka, Rai-Oleksandrivka and Mykolaivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian forces carried out one attack toward Yurkivka.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, 20 attacks were recorded. The invaders conducted assault operations near Kostiantynivka, Dolha Balka, Rusynyi Yar, Toretske and Kuchеровyi Yar, as well as toward Mykolaipillia.

The enemy launched 26 attacks on the Pokrovsk direction, attempting to advance toward Dobropillia, Myrne and Serhiivka, as well as near Dorozhnie, Shevchenko, Udachne and Novomykolaivka.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy launched three assaults toward Ternove.

In the Huliaipole direction, Russian forces attacked eight times, attempting to advance near Hirke and Charivne and toward Rizdvianka.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attempted to improve its positions toward Chervona Krynytsia.

On the Dnipro River direction, the invaders did not conduct any offensive operations.

No signs of Russian offensive group formations were detected in the Volyn and Polissia directions.

As Ukrinform reported, the total combat losses of Russian troops since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, from February 24, 2022, to September 14, 2026, amount to approximately 1,508,600 personnel.
