Former BBC Director General Tim Davie Joins FGS Global As Partner

LONDON-FGS Global, the corporate and financial communications specialist backed by KKR has added Tim Davie, former director-general of the BBC, as partner working with FGS Global's strategy & reputation team to grow and deepen the firm's CEO and board advisory offer.
Davie served as the 17th director-general of the BBC from September 2020 to April 2026, leading one of the world's most recognized public institutions through a period of intense public and political scrutiny. During his tenure at the BBC, he also served as chief executive of BBC Studios, where he oversaw the merger of the BBC's production and distribution arms and built the business to an annual turnover of over £1.4bn.
Before joining the BBC as director of marketing, communications and audiences in April 2005, Davie was vice president of marketing and finance at PepsiCo Europe. He began his career at Procter & Gamble.
