Europe Should Impose Sanctions After Every Massive Russian Strike, Not Wait For Packages Sybiha

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said this at a joint briefing with Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski in Kyiv on Sunday, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"We discussed once again the approach that we should not wait for large sanctions packages, but after every massive strike on Ukraine, adopt relevant sanctions packages against the aggressor – against Russia – including an 'Anti-Ballistic Package'," he said.

Sybiha added that Ukraine's partners should deprive Russia of its ability to manufacture ballistic missiles and drones and restrict its access to military technologies. According to him, there is still significant potential in this area.

"Unfortunately, Russia has learned how to circumvent sanctions. Unfortunately, Russia continues to use components of products manufactured in Western countries, in European countries, in the production of both ballistic missiles and drones. And we have provided this information to our European partners," the diplomat said.

As reported, a bill to strengthen sanctions against Russia, which the U.S. Senate approved by an overwhelming majority last month, will be put to a vote in the House of Representatives next week.
