Jordan, Palestine Discuss Aid Coordination For West Bank, Gaza
Amman, September 13 (Petra) -- Secretary General of the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) Hussein Al Shibli and Palestinian Minister of Social Development Samah Hamad on Sunday discussed ways to enhance humanitarian support for the Palestinian people in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
During Hamad's visit to the JHCO, the two sides discussed mechanisms for cooperation and coordination to identify priorities and humanitarian needs. The goal is to direct Jordanian aid through the JHCO and ensure its delivery to the most vulnerable groups.
According to the JHCO statement, both sides affirmed the importance of continuing joint coordination and developing areas of cooperation to strengthen Jordan's humanitarian response in support of the Palestinian people.
