Israeli Drone Strike Kills Palestinians, Injures Others in Gaza City

(MENAFN) Two Palestinians were killed and 13 others wounded Sunday when an Israeli drone targeted a civilian vehicle in southern Gaza City.

The strike hit a vehicle in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, killing its two occupants and injuring people nearby, according to reports. Witnesses said the drone fired at least two missiles at the vehicle.

Elsewhere in Gaza, Israeli forces shelled Palestinian homes northeast of the Bureij refugee camp in the central part of the enclave.

Israeli military vehicles also opened intense fire toward buildings and tents sheltering displaced Palestinians in southern Khan Younis, while Israeli naval forces fired toward the city’s coastline, witnesses said.

Israeli violations of the ceasefire that took effect on Oct. 10, 2025, had killed 1,369 Palestinians and wounded 4,627 others by Saturday, according to Gaza health authorities.

The broader Israeli war on Gaza, which began in October 2023, has killed more than 73,000 Palestinians and injured over 174,000, while leaving extensive destruction across the territory, according to Palestinian authorities.
