Israel Intensifies Airstrikes, Artillery Fire Across Southern Lebanon

(MENAFN) Israeli forces carried out a new wave of airstrikes and artillery attacks against several locations in southern Lebanon on Sunday, with multiple areas coming under fire.

Israeli warplanes first struck the Ali al-Taher forest near Nabatieh al-Fawqa before launching another attack on the town less than 15 minutes later.

Two successive airstrikes then hit Kfar Tebnit, followed by another strike against the same town less than 30 minutes afterward.

Another Israeli aircraft targeted the area surrounding al-Dabsha hill near Nabatieh al-Fawqa, while Israeli artillery also shelled Zawtar al-Sharqiyah.

There were no immediate reports of casualties or the extent of property damage caused by the attacks.

The latest strikes came as Israeli military operations in southern Lebanon continued despite ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions and reaching a political settlement.
