Liverpool Held Scoreless at Anfield as Fulham Frustrate Reds

(MENAFN) Liverpool were frustrated to a goalless stalemate by Fulham at Anfield on Saturday, slipping up for the third time in four Premier League outings this season.

Having entered the match with five points from three games, Liverpool found no way past a Fulham side still chasing its first points of the campaign. The visitors nearly stole the lead in the 11th minute when a short pass from Alisson put the hosts in danger, only for Jeremy Jacquet to clear off the line.

Liverpool's best chance of the first half came in the 22nd minute, when Dominik Szoboszlai's inswinging corner cannoned off the crossbar. The teams went in scoreless at the interval.

Szoboszlai forced a save from Bernd Leno with a firm strike in the 67th minute, and at the other end Alisson denied Josh King nine minutes later. Alexander Isak had one last chance to snatch a winner deep into stoppage time but couldn't connect cleanly with Szoboszlai's corner, and the match ended 0-0.

Hull Extend Unbeaten Run With Comeback Draw at Chelsea
Hull City kept their unbeaten Premier League run alive, battling to a 2-2 draw at Chelsea after conceding their first league goal of the season and still fighting back to lead 2-1.

Chelsea broke through early, in the seventh minute, when Joao Pedro picked out Morgan Rogers on the counter and the winger fired low past Konstantinos Tzolakis.

Hull answered in the 28th minute as Mohamed Belloumi struck a low half-volley past Emiliano Martinez. The visitors then flipped the game in their favor six minutes later — Semi Ajayi's header cracked off the crossbar from a corner before Oli McBurnie teed up Belloumi for his second goal, sending Hull into the break ahead 2-1.

Chelsea leveled matters in the 66th minute when Cole Palmer's low cross found Joao Pedro, who finished into the roof of the net.

Both sides pushed for a winner late on — Tzolakis denied Rogers, while Martinez turned away a back-post effort from Mohamed-Ali Cho — but the score held, preserving Hull's unbeaten record.

Hull sit unbeaten on eight points from four matches, with Chelsea now on seven.
