War Update: 249 Combat Clashes At Front Over Past Day, Pokrovsk Sector Remains Hottest

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a Facebook post on the situation as of 8:00 on Sunday, September 13.

The enemy launched two missile strikes and 98 airstrikes, dropping 348 guided aerial bombs.

Russian forces also used 11,357 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,815 shelling attacks on populated areas and positions of Ukrainian troops.

Artillery fire hit Pysarivka, Ulanove, Khotin, Yastrubshchyna, Sadky, Ivolzhanske, Vilna, Mohrytsia, Luzhky, and Seredyna-Buda in the Sumy region, as well as Hirsk in the Chernihiv region. Airstrikes targeted areas around Sinne, Sukhodol, Tovstodubove, Luzhky, and Kindrativka in the Sumy region.

Ukrainian Defense Forces' aviation, missile forces and artillery struck two clusters of Russian personnel, four artillery systems and one UAV command post.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Ukrainian defenders repelled 10 Russian assaults near Sadky, Bachivsk, Ulanove, Hirky, and Ryzhivka.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Ukrainian units repelled 14 Russian attacks. Russian troops attempted to advance near Izbytske, Starytsia, and Lyman, as well as toward Vilcha and Komisarove.

In the Kupiansk sector, Russian forces attacked three times near Kurylivka and Novoosynove.

Attempts to breach Ukrainian defenses were repelled in the Lyman sector, where Russian troops launched four attacks near Lyman and toward Novoselivka and Cherneshchyna.

In the Sloviansk sector, Russian forces conducted six assault actions near Zakitne and Yampil, as well as toward Mykolaivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.

No Russian assault actions were recorded in the Kramatorsk sector over the past day.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, 15 Russian attacks were recorded. Russian troops conducted assaults near Kostiantynivka and Illinivka, as well as toward Rozkishne and Rusyn Yar.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 29 Russian attacks. The enemy was active near Shakhove, Molodetske, Bilytske, Serhiivka and Udachne, and also launched assaults toward Toretske, Kucheriv Yar, Stepove, Dorozhnie, Svitle, Shevchenko, Matiasheve, Novohryshyne, Hryshyne, and Novopidhorodne.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, Russian troops launched one attack toward Rybne.

In the Huliaipole sector, Russian forces attacked nine times. The enemy attempted to advance toward Rivne, Kosivtseve, Vozdvyzhivka, Tsvitkove, and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped three attempts by Russian forces to advance near Mala Tokmachka, Shcherbaky, and Stepnohirsk.

No Russian assault actions were recorded in the Dnipro River sector.

No signs of Russian forces forming offensive groupings were detected in the Volyn and Polissia sectors.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russia's total combat losses since the start of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, through September 13, 2026, amount to approximately 1,506,900 personnel, including 1,520 over the past 24 hours.
