How To Recruit Domestic Worker In Qatar Through Moawen Platform

Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Labour has outlined the steps for recruiting domestic workers through Moawen, its recently launched e-platform.

The platform enables users to complete recruitment procedures, deal with licensed recruitment agencies and track applications online, streamlining the process and making it more transparent.

Here are the 11 steps to recruit a domestic worker through the Moawen Platform:

Step 1: Obtain approval for the recruitment visa via Metrash. This step can be skipped if recruitment approval has already been obtained.
Step 2: Log into the Moawen Platform. Within 24 hours of applying for approval on Metrash, the approval should be visible on Moawen Platform.
Step 3: Click on 'Start your recruitment journey'.
Step 4: Fill in the required details and specify your recruitment requirements.
Step 5: Review the offers submitted by licensed recruitment agency.
Step 6: Schedule an interview with the selected domestic worker.
Step 7: Finalise the recruitment arrangements and agree with the recruitment agency on the cost involved.
Step 8: Review and sign the contract.
Step 9: Pay the recruitment fees digitally.
Step 10: Log in to Metrash, where the visa will be issued, and an appointment will be scheduled at the Qatar Visa Center. Enter the Qatar Visa Centre appointment details on the Moawen platform.
Step 11: Once the worker's residence permit is issued through Metrash, the QID details will automatically appear on the Moawen platform. The worker can then proceed with the arrangements to enter Qatar.

The Ministry also plans to expand the platform's services in the future, allowing domestic workers to log in and view their employment terms and other details.
