Qatar Participates In Unesco Digital Learning Week
Qatar participated in the Digital Learning Week events held on September 8-11 at the headquarters of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (Unesco) in Paris.
Qatar was represented by a delegation headed by Qatar National Commission for Education, Culture and Science secretary-general Dr Nouf al-Suwaidi, alongside representatives from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT).
The event addressed global developments and trends in digital transformation within education, and examined ways to effectively leverage modern technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) to improve educational quality, expand access, and enhance future system readiness.
Discussions focused on boosting international co-operation, sharing expertise, and developing regulatory policies for AI and technology in education, while ensuring the capacity-building of educators and learners to foster inclusive, safe, and equitable digital learning.
