This system aims to transform the travel experience in the face of the steady increase in tourist and domestic traffic passing through the country's main air terminal.
The technology allows passengers to complete their identity verification in seconds using biometric passports and facial recognition technology, significantly reducing wait times without compromising security protocols.

Initial Phase and Users: In this first stage, the automated gates are primarily enabled for adult Costa Rican citizens carrying a biometric passport, with plans to expand the service to other nationalities in the near future.
