Canada To Allocate More Than USD 30 M For Rehabilitation Of Ukrainian Veterans
“Canada will provide up to 40 million Canadian dollars to assist in the recovery, rehabilitation, and return to civilian life of Ukrainian veterans,” the statement said.
It is noted that Canada will allocate an additional 23 million Canadian dollars (approximately 17 million U.S. dollars) to“strengthen Ukraine's security architecture.”“This includes support for the police, the National Guard, the military, and communities near the front lines, as well as assistance in countering disinformation,” a spokesperson for Carney said.
Canada will also allocate 6 million Canadian dollars (about 4.5 million U.S. dollars) to“support Ukraine's efforts to repatriate and reintegrate Ukrainian children who were illegally deported and forcibly taken to Russia.”

As reported by Ukrinform, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is currently on a visit to Canada. On Thursday, he met with Prime Minister Mark Carney and spoke with members of the Canadian government, joining their off-site meeting.
