Nearly 50 Pieces Of World War II Ammunition Found In Kirovohrad Region


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the SES Main Directorate in the Kirovohrad region.

The obsolete explosive devices were found on private property in the village of Divoche Pole in the Popelnastivska community. Residents reported them to the State Emergency Service.

Experts from the pyrotechnics unit of the special-purpose emergency rescue squad defused nearly fifty 45-mm artillery shells.

As reported by Ukrinform, a cache of World War II-era artillery shells was discovered in Zolotonosha, Cherkasy region.
