Rebecca Moore

Rebecca Moore is a PhD researcher of pharmacogenomics at Norwich Medical School, University of East Anglia and the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Trust.
Rebecca also works as a general practitioner, gaining her MRCGP in 2022. She graduated from Cambridge University in 2017 with an MBBChir and an MA in Natural Sciences.
Her academic work specialises in the implementation of personalised medicine, specifically evaluating the use and prevalence of pharmacogenomic (PGx) testing in community and primary healthcare services. Rebecca is particularly dedicated to understanding how PGx-guided care can support safe medication management and reduce hospital admissions for complex patients undergoing polypharmacy. Through her research, she aims to bridge the gap between genetic science and routine clinical practice to establish safer, more effective prescribing workflows.
