Manohar Lal To Participate In G20 Energy Ministerial Meeting In Houston
The meeting will bring together Energy Ministers and senior representatives from G20 members to discuss global energy security, affordability, infrastructure development and resilient energy supply chains.
Manohar Lal will participate in sessions covering three key pillars:“Energy Security and Affordable Baseload,”“Permitting and Regulatory Efficiency,” and“Critical Minerals & Resilient Supply Chains.”
The discussions will focus on energy security and affordability, efficient regulatory frameworks for timely energy infrastructure development, and secure and diversified critical-mineral supply chains.
During the meeting, Manohar Lal will highlight India's approach to building a resilient and future-ready energy system, along with the country's experience in permitting and regulatory reforms and its focus on diversification, circularity and strengthening the critical-minerals value chain.
India will also advocate pragmatic, inclusive and technology-neutral approaches that take into account diverse national circumstances and support secure, affordable, reliable, resilient and sustainable energy systems.
