About 45,000 Hasidim Have Already Arrived In Uman For Rosh Hashanah Celebrations
“According to the United Jewish Community of Ukraine, about 45,000 pilgrims have already arrived in the city. This year's number of pilgrims is the highest in recent years,” the post states.
It is noted that 50,000 pilgrims are expected to arrive this year.
According to“Suspilne,” thousands of pilgrims prayed for Ukraine simultaneously in the area of the Bratslav Hasidic pilgrimage in Uman. At noon, the pilgrims paused and repeated the prayer that was broadcast over loudspeakers.
According to one of the worshippers, the prayer is called Tikun Ha-Klali.
