NEW YORK - Burson chief innovation officer Chad Latz is leaving the agency after 17 years across WPP, Burson and its predecessor agencies.
Latz announced his departure on LinkedIn, saying he plans to take some time to consider his next move after nearly two decades with the company.
Latz was named Burson's global chief innovation officer ahead of the July 2024 merger of BCW and Hill & Knowlton, retaining the role he held at BCW. He was charged with leading the agency's innovation efforts and product development, including AI-focused solutions, as well as building and managing a team of AI practitioners and partners across data, technology and academia.
In his departure post, Latz pointed to innovation, transformation and the development of AI products as a major focus of his work in recent years. He cited Burson's recent acquisition of predictive intelligence company Limbik as a culmination of those efforts. Latz had worked with Limbik founders Zach Schwitzky and Josh Levin for years, including on the development of Burson's Decipher platform.
“For now, I am going to give myself a little room to reflect as I decide what comes next,” Latz wrote.“The speed of technology and transformation creates many new opportunities for which I am excited.”
