Ukrainian Forces Strike Saratov Oil Refinery In Russia


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

Fires were reported at the facility.

The extent of the damage is being assessed.

The Saratov oil refinery has a processing capacity of about 7 million tonnes of oil per year and produces gasoline, diesel fuel and other petroleum products.

The facility is involved in supplying the Russian Armed Forces with fuel and lubricants.

Operations targeting key military-industrial facilities of the enemy are ongoing.

As reported, Russian company Ozon confirmed that drones attacked its logistics center in the city of Saratov overnight on September 11. A fire was also reported at the Saratov oil refinery.
