Gudslip And Gudsport Reach 4,000 Athletes At Merrell Istanbul Ultra

(MENAFN- B2Press) Spanish sleep and recovery brand Gudslip and its sports-focused product line Gudsport met with athletes at the Merrell Istanbul Ultra, held on September 5 at Kemerburgaz City Forest. Around 4,000 Gudsport nasal strips were distributed free of charge during the event, while participants received information on breathing before the race and sleep, rest, and recovery after the race.

The Gudslip and Gudsport team was present at the event area from early morning, meeting thousands of local and international athletes and visitors throughout the day. At the event, where approximately 4,000 Gudsport nasal strips were distributed, a significant portion of the products were introduced by the brand team through one-on-one application to participants.

Queues formed at different times of the day at the experience area, which attracted significant interest, while many athletes tried Gudsport products before the race and then took to the course. Participants also received information about Gudslip's sleep and recovery-focused products, including nasal strips, mouth strips, sleep masks, and earplugs.

Breathing Before the Race, Recovery After the Race

Gudslip and Gudsport's activities at the event focused not only on product experience but also on athletes' preparation and recovery processes. Before the race, participants received information about nasal breathing and breathing awareness through Gudsport products, while the role of sleep and rest in athletes' routines was discussed as part of the Gudslip product range.

During conversations at the event area, participants were also provided with information about their post-race rest and sleep routines, as well as their preparations before the race. Sleep and Sports Packages for 18 Athletes

Gudslip and Gudsport also supported athletes who achieved top rankings at the Merrell Istanbul Ultra. A total of 18 athletes who finished in the top three in the women's and men's categories across the 15K, 30K, and 60K courses received sleep and sports packages consisting of Gudslip and Gudsport products.

The packages included products designed to support athletes' needs during the race, as well as their rest and sleep routines after the race.

Gudslip Türkiye Founders Ahmet and Ömer Pekcan commented on the event, emphasizing the importance of drawing attention to athletes' preparation and recovery processes:

“At the Merrell Istanbul Ultra, we did not want to simply introduce or distribute our products. Just as an athlete's day does not begin at the starting line, it does not end at the finish line either. We wanted to talk about breathing before the race, and rest, sleep, and recovery after the race.

We distributed approximately 4,000 nasal strips free of charge to participants, and we directly engaged with people by applying most of them one-on-one. We also gave our sleep and sports packages to the athletes who finished in the top three in the women's and men's categories across the 15K, 30K, and 60K courses. For us, the most valuable part of the day was being able to talk to thousands of people not only about sports but also about sleep, breathing, and rest.”

It was stated that following the event, some athletes returned to the Gudslip and Gudsport area to continue learning about the products.
