Mullah Baradar, Türkiye Envoy Discuss Economic Ties, Migrant Issues
According to a statement from the Economic Affairs Office of the Prime Minister's Office issued today, Baradar met with Türkiye's Ambassador to Afghanistan Sadin Aylldiz at his office.
The two sides discussed expanding economic, trade and transit relations between Afghanistan and Türkiye, as well as resolving problems faced by Afghan migrants in Türkiye.
Baradar appreciated the activities of Turkish companies in Afghanistan and called on other investors from Türkiye to invest in the country.
He said the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan would provide all necessary facilities for investors from Türkiye.
Baradar also stressed the need to resolve the problems of Afghan migrants in Türkiye and provide them with greater facilities.
Meanwhile, Sadin Aylldiz welcomed the increase in trade between Afghanistan and Türkiye, saying his country was ready to expand relations with Afghanistan in transport, transit, health, education and other economic sectors.
He said Türkiye would continue its cooperation in strengthening relations between Afghanistan and the international community and in presenting the“real image of Afghanistan” to the world.
The Turkish envoy also said facilities had been introduced for issuing visas to Afghans and that efforts were underway to provide further ease in this area.
