Moderate Weather Forecast For Most Areas Through Monday - JMD
Amman, Sept. 11 (Petra)-- Moderate weather conditions are forecast across most parts of the Kingdom on Friday, while hot conditions are expected in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba. Winds will be northwesterly moderate in speed.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), similar weather conditions are expected on Saturday, with moderate temperatures in most areas and hot conditions in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba. Winds will be northwesterly moderate in speed.
On Sunday, temperatures are forecast to rise slightly, with moderate weather prevailing in most areas and hot conditions in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba. Winds will be northwesterly to northeasterly moderate in speed.
Moderate temperatures will continue on Monday in most areas, while hot conditions will persist in the Badia, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea and Aqaba. Winds will be northwesterly moderate in speed.
Today, maximum and minimum temperatures in East Amman are expected to range between 32 C and 19 C, compared with 30 C and 18 C in West Amman, 28 C and 17 C in the northern highlands, 29 C and 16 C in the Sharah Mountains, 36 C and 18 C in the Badia, and 33 C and 20 C in the plains.
Temperatures in the Northern Jordan Valley are expected to reach 39 C, with a low of 20 C, while the Southern Jordan Valley will range between 39 C and 26 C. The Dead Sea will see temperatures of 38 C and 25 C, and Aqaba 39 C and 25 C.
