This year's CIFIT innovatively established Finland and Saudi Arabia as“Dual Guest Countries of Honor” for the first time. The Finland National Pavilion covers approximately 300 square meters, integrating Nordic polar natural scenery with technological elements such as low-carbon technology and smart manufacturing; the Saudi Arabia National Pavilion covers a total of 475 square meters, with green as its main tone, focusing on promoting investment opportunities in energy and chemicals, advanced manufacturing, and other fields. The year 2026 marks the tenth anniversary of the establishment of the China-Saudi Arabia comprehensive strategic partnership. Saudi Arabia's participation in the CIFIT as the Guest Country of Honor signifies an important milestone as both sides move toward deepening economic and investment cooperation.

Stepping into the 475-square-meter Saudi National Pavilion, the first impression is one of order and grandeur. The overall style is unified with a clear theme, clearly showcasing landmark projects covering fields such as advanced manufacturing, technology, renewable energy, and tourism. All exhibition areas are equipped with touch screens for visitors to browse on their own.
“The main purpose of our trip is to answer people's questions face to face and create more possibilities for cooperation between Saudi Arabia and China and the world,” said Edwin Lammers, a relevant person in charge of the Saudi National Pavilion. He introduced that this Saudi National Pavilion relies on the framework of“Vision 2030,” focusing on presenting high-quality opportunities such as the digital economy and cross-border investment cooperation. He stated that this is not just cooperation with Saudi Arabia:“Saudi Arabia connects Asia, Africa, and Europe. For enterprises seeking international development, this is one of the important gateways to the world's most dynamic markets.”
To this end, the Saudi National Pavilion has set up a dedicated area to hold high-level dialogues and industry-specific seminars, focusing on promoting investment opportunities in fields such as energy, petrochemicals, information and communication technology, capital markets, and fintech. During the CIFIT, a China-Saudi Arabia investment cooperation exchange event will also be held to further promote practical cooperation in trade and investment between the two sides.

As an old friend of the CIFIT, he also appeared at the Saudi National Pavilion this time, with a smile on his face, and accidentally blurted out Chinese during an interview. Guest Abdullah was visiting Xiamen for the first time, and he thought everything here was amazing.“The CIFIT is a national-level grand platform. China has a large volume and many opportunities.” He is particularly interested in fields such as IT, new energy, and AI. This time he came to look for cooperation opportunities, and also welcomed Chinese enterprises to invest in Saudi Arabia.“In addition, Xiamen is so beautiful. As soon as I arrived, I wanted to stay a few more days and explore this place properly,” Abdullah said.
