Profile Articles

I (she/they) am a creative-practice researcher, designer and Senior Lecturer in Game Design and Digital Media at Adelaide University. My work explores how interactive media, games, technology and other forms of designed experience can help us understand complex social and cultural questions, create new forms of learning, and imagine alternative ways of experiencing the world.

My research sits across creative practice, digital media, interactive storytelling and game design, with a particular interest in how designed systems shape the ways people understand and experience social issues. I am interested in using creative and participatory approaches not simply to communicate ideas, but to allow people to encounter, explore and question them for themselves.
