Israeli Forces Injure Palestinians During West Bank Raid

(MENAFN) Two Palestinian men were injured after Israeli forces allegedly assaulted them during a military raid in the northern occupied West Bank on Wednesday.

The Palestinian Red Crescent said medical teams provided treatment to two 24-year-old men before taking them to a hospital for further care.

Israeli forces entered Awarta, southeast of Nablus, during the operation and reportedly used live ammunition, tear gas and stun grenades, according to local reports.

The raid also triggered confrontations between Israeli troops and Palestinian youths in the town.

Israeli military operations across the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, have escalated since Oct. 8, 2023. The campaign has involved reported killings, arrests, forced displacement, demolitions of Palestinian homes and continued settlement expansion.
