Held in line with the announcement made by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the“Mother of the Nation,” the programme reflectes the bank's commitment to recognising the contributions and achievements of Emirati women and young female entrepreneurs across various fields.

Special gifts were distributed to all female employees across Emirates Islamic in recognition of their valuable contributions to the bank's continued success.

Dedicated platforms were provided for participants to showcase their products and businesses, supporting national talent, promoting Emirati entrepreneurship and increasing the visibility of their ventures.

The event featured a live cooking demonstration by the youngest Emirati chef, showcasing some of the UAE's most popular traditional dishes. The dishes prepared during the demonstration were served to attendees as part of the celebration, adding a cultural dimension to the programme.

The event also featured the opening of the Emirati Women Entrepreneurs Exhibition, in the presence of Farid Al Mulla, Chief Executive Officer of Emirates Islamic, and several senior officials from the bank, with the participation of H.E. Ayesha Mohammed Saeed Al Mulla, Chairwoman of the Emirates Businesswomen Council. The exhibition showcased a diverse range of innovative businesses and products presented by a distinguished group of Emirati women entrepreneurs.

Farida Mohammad Rafi, Chief Human Resources Officer at Emirates Islamic, commented:“Emirati women are at the heart of Emirates Islamic's success as a national Islamic finance institution. Emirates Islamic's Compliance department also participated in the event by showcasing and supporting Emirati businesses, further encouraging engagement across the bank's business units to support Emirati talent and enterprise.

In addition, the bank's screens displayed a dedicated visual showcase highlighting inspiring success stories and achievements of female employees, recognising their professional journeys, valuable contributions and role in Emirates Islamic's success.

Throughout the month, Emirates Islamic will collaborate with leading UAE organisations dedicated to supporting and empowering women.
