War Update: 277 Battles At Front Over Past Day, Pokrovsk Sector Sees Heaviest Fighting

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) As reported by Ukrinform, this was stated in a report by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the situation as of 8:00 on Thursday, September 10, posted on Facebook.

The enemy launched 91 airstrikes, dropping 331 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian invaders deployed 10,913 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,117 shelling attacks.

In the Sumy region, Korenok, Tovstodubove, Pysarivka, Ulanove, Khotin, Yastrubshchyna, Sadky, Myropillia, and Ivolzhanske came under artillery fire. The areas of Vilna Sloboda and Bereza were hit by airstrikes.

Ukrainian Defense Forces' aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck one cluster of Russian personnel, six artillery systems, two UAV control posts, and one surface-to-air missile system.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Ukrainian defenders repelled two enemy assaults.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Ukrainian units repelled 14 attacks. The invaders attempted to advance near Kozacha Lopan, Lyman, and Starytsia, as well as toward Shyroke and Chuhunivka.

In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy attacked three times near Petropavlivka and Novoosynove.

In the Lyman sector, Russian forces launched five attacks near Lyman and Dibrova, as well as toward Novoselivka.

In the Sloviansk sector, the enemy conducted one assault toward Pyskunivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian forces launched one attack toward Fedorivka.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, seven enemy attacks were recorded. The invaders conducted assault operations near Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and Dovha Balka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 44 enemy attacks. Russian forces were active near Bilytske, Serhiivka, Udachne, and Molodetske, and also launched assaults toward Dorozhnie, Mykolaipillia, Vodianske, Nadiia, Vasylivka, Toretske, Novohryhorivka, Stepove, Hannivka, Dobropillia, Shevchenko, Svitle, and Matiasheve.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, the invaders launched two attacks toward Radisne and Rybne.

In the Huliaipole sector, Russian forces attacked 10 times, attempting to advance near Hirke and toward Rizdvianka, Ternuvate, and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv and Dnipro River sectors, the enemy conducted no assault operations.

In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of Russian forces forming offensive groupings were detected.

As reported by Ukrinform, the total combat losses of Russian forces since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, through September 10, 2026, stand at 1,502,390 personnel.
