Israeli Forces Injure Two Palestinians in West Bank Raid
(MENAFN) Two Palestinian men were wounded Wednesday when Israeli forces assaulted them during a raid in the northern occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its medical teams treated both men, aged 24, at the scene before transporting them to a hospital.
According to local sources cited by media, Israeli troops stormed the town of Awarta, located southeast of Nablus, deploying live fire, tear gas and stun grenades during the operation. The raid triggered clashes with Palestinian youths in the area.
The incident adds to a mounting pattern of Israeli military activity across the occupied West Bank, including occupied East Jerusalem, since Oct. 8, 2023. Rights groups and local reports have documented killings, arrests, forced displacement, home demolitions and continued settlement expansion throughout that period.
