BERLIN, Sept 10 (NNN-dpa) -- Paris Saint-Germain shook off their domestic woes as they started the quest for a third straight Champions League with an emphatic 6-1 triumph over Slovan Bratislava while Barcelona continued their flying start into the season by trouncing Feyenoord 5-1 on Wednesday, reported German Press Agency (dpa).

Ferran Torres had a hat-trick and Ousmane Dembelé scored a brace and added a pair of assists for PSG who are yet to win a season game in France.

Raphinha also had two goals for Barcelona, with young star Lamine Yamal on target as well as two of the top title contenders made early statements.

Atlético Madrid's Marcos Llorente scored a fifth personal goal at Anfield but hosts Liverpool fought back to win 2-1 from Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister. Last season's runners-up Arsenal prevailed 1-0 at Napoli from Martin Ødegaard.

Elsewhere, Ermedin Demirović scored a hat-trick within a span of 13 first-half minutes in VfB Stuttgart's 3-1 win against debutants Viking Stavanger and Sporting also recorded a 3-1 success against Galatasaray.

The first matchday spread over three days ends on Thursday with six games, including six-time winners Bayern Munich v last year's surprise team Bodø/Glimt and ex-champions Manchester United v newcomers Sabah of Azerbaijan.
