Qatar TV To Launch New Programming Lineup On Sunday

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar TV is preparing to launch its new programming schedule this Sunday (Sept 13) for September. This initiative reflects a renewed vision to strengthen the national channel's presence and deliver diverse local content that aligns with the community's interests and viewers' aspirations.

The new schedule underscores Qatar TV's commitment to content development, balancing innovation with the retention of programmes that succeeded in previous seasons, while also introducing new programming segments focused on local affairs, the family, and society.

The new season features a variety of offerings, including revamped morning shows; programmes covering social, legal, educational, cultural, and religious topics; and shows dedicated to heritage, children, and human-interest stories. It also maintains daily and weekly coverage of local events and activities.

Ali bin Saleh al-Sadah, director of Qatar TV, emphasised that the September schedule reflects a carefully considered balance between innovation and preserving the programming identity that has resonated with Qatari viewers and proven successful in the past.

"We are launching the new September programming season with a comprehensive media vision that prioritises the family and the community," al-Sadah said. "We rely on local content that directly addresses the issues facing citizens and residents while supporting constructive ideas and ongoing collaboration."

He added, "In addition to launching the revamped 'Fay Al-Duha' (Morning Shade) programme, designed as a modern morning show, and introducing new religious, educational, and informative programmes such as 'Tafsir Al-Quran' (Qur'anic Exegesis) and the educational programme 'Athar' (Impact), we remain committed to upholding the channel's core programming pillars." The programme "Hayatuna" (our life) continues its successful daily run, while "Qatar in a Week" continues to deliver comprehensive news coverage and analysis of key events in the country.

Al-Sadah added that the programme "Hiwar Al-Watan" (Nation's Dialogue) serves as a platform for objectively discussing and addressing pressing local issues, alongside the political talk show "Files of the Hour". In contrast, the programme "Madaris" (Schools) covers every aspect of the academic year and the daily school routine. Furthermore, the programme "By Law" (Bi-Hukm Al-Qanun) covers social and legal content, and "Mishwar" (Journey) highlights major locations and events from a fresh perspective.
