Zelensky, Norwegian PM Meet With Defense Companies' Executives
The main topic was the FREYJA anti-ballistic program, which could provide Europe with integrated protection against air threats through the joint efforts of Ukraine, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
“Together with the leadership of FirePoint, Kongsberg, Weibel, Saab, Diehl Defence, Hensoldt, Thales, Safran, Sener, and Leonardo, we agreed on the specific steps leaders and government officials need to take at their level, and manufacturers and developers at theirs. We expect to see the first practical results,” Zelensky said.
He expressed his gratitude to Norway for hosting the meeting.
“I thank our partners for their readiness to work together. Protecting Europe's skies is our shared responsibility,” Zelensky emphasized.
