Manon's research and activities focus on reading and language, including dyslexia and bilingualism. She leads CAL:ON Cymru, a national structured literacy approach for Wales ( She is also the director of the Miles Dyslexia Centre, which is a centre of research excellence and provides an assessment and teaching service to the public as well as CPD for practitioners ().
