Ukrainian Forces Strike Russian Mangust Patrol Boat In Sevastopol

On September 8 and overnight into September 9, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of important enemy targets.

In the area of temporarily occupied Donetsk, a site used to store, prepare, and launch attack UAVs was hit.

In Kozacha Bay in Sevastopol, the Defense Forces struck a Project 12150 Mangust high-speed patrol boat.

The extent of the damage is being clarified.

The Mangust is a Russian patrol boat designed for patrolling, protecting maritime areas, and combating small targets. It is approximately 20 meters long, has a maximum speed of up to 50 knots (more than 90 km/h), and has a crew of up to six.

In Olenivka, in temporarily occupied Crimea, an electronic intelligence antenna complex was hit, while in Vitino, an antenna housed inside a radome belonging to a separate command-and-measurement complex was struck.

In Dokuchaievsk, Donetsk region, the Defense Forces struck a UAV warehouse; in Fashchivka, Luhansk region, an ammunition depot belonging to the Rubicon unit was hit; and in Selydove, Donetsk region, another ammunition depot was struck.

The extent of the damage is being clarified.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Defense Forces previously struck an oil terminal, warships, and Kalibr missile carriers in Novorossiysk.
