Kremlin Says Ready To Resume Trilateral Talks On Ending War

“There is a joint initiative, a shared political desire that has been confirmed – to move toward resuming trilateral talks. We hope that these talks will resume in the near future,” Peskov said.

At the same time, the Kremlin spokesman did not specify when such a meeting could take place.

Peskov also said that during yesterday's conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump, the two discussed prisoner exchanges between Russia and Ukraine, as well as exchanges between the United States and Russia.

As reported by Ukrinform, President Volodymyr Zelensky said he plans to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump in September and would then work to organize a trilateral meeting between Ukraine, the United States, and Russia.

Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Heorhii Tykhyi confirmed that there is a preliminary agreement for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and U.S. President Donald Trump to meet in September.
