Train Struck In Kharkiv Region, Injuring Eight Passengers And Railway Employees
“The train stopped to evacuate passengers, and we managed to save the staff and passengers from the worst. However, debris was scattered over a wide area. Seven people-railway workers and passengers-sustained shrapnel wounds (fortunately, mostly minor),” the post reads.
One of the injured is in critical condition, according to Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

Meanwhile, as of 1:00 p.m., the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in the Kharkiv region reports that there are already eight victims. Two train cars caught fire after the strike.
“Rescuers from the State Emergency Service, together with firefighters from the local fire department, extinguished the fire. Eight people were injured,” the agency reported.
As previously reported, on September 9 at 10:00 a.m., the enemy struc the“Kharkiv–Izium” train with a“Shahed” drone at a railway station near the village of Iskra. The enemy drone hit the rear of the train, causing a fire. Six people were reported injured.
