Doha, Qatar: Baladna, Qatar's largest dairy and beverage producer, has successfully completed its capital increase through a rights issue, with newly issued shares listed and trading on the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).

To mark the successful completion of the transaction, Qatar Stock Exchange hosted a bell-ringing ceremony yesterday attended by senior officials and representatives of the executive management teams of both organisations, highlighting the significance of the mile stone in Baladna's growth journey.

The issuance comprised the offering of 535,996,240 new shares to existing shareholders, on a one-for-four basis, at a subscription price of QR1.01 per share, with the subscription period closing on August 17, 2026.

The process was completed yesterday with the full sale of the 120,507,405 unsubscribed shares at the start of the trading session, resulting in 100% coverage of the new shares offered.

Following completion of the process, the company's issued and paid-up share capital rose from QR2,143,984,962 to QR2,679,981,202, distributed over 2,679,981,202 shares, an increase of 25%, making it one of the largest capital increases completed under the Offering, Listing, and Mergers and Acquisitions Rules issued by the Qatar Financial Markets Authority in December 2025.

This transaction reflects Baladna's ongoing strategy to strengthen its capital base and diversify its sources of financing in support of its regional and international expansion plans, further consolidating its leading position in the dairy and beverage sector.

It also reflects QSE's commitment to the continued development of the market and to broadening the range of financing and investment solutions available to companies for raising capital.

Chairman of Baladna, Moutaz Al Khayyat in a statement marking the completion of the capital increase process said,“The successful completion of this capital increase marks an important milestone in Baladna's growth journey and reflects the strong confidence our shareholders place in our strategy and future plans.
