Afghanistan To Host Zimbabwe, Bangladesh For Tests, Odis, T20is
The cricketing action will begin with a one-off Test between Afghanistan and Bangladesh, scheduled for October 9 to 13, 2026, the ACB said in a statement.
This will be followed by an ODI tri-nation series involving Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe from October 17 to 23. Each team will play the other once before the top two sides meet in the final on October 23.
Afghanistan and Zimbabwe will then play a three-match T20I series on October 27, October 29 and November 1.
The two teams will subsequently meet in a two-match Test series, with the first Test scheduled for November 5 to 9 and the second from November 13 to 17.
The ACB said all the matches would be hosted by Afghanistan and played in the UAE.
ACB CEO Naseeb Khan said the upcoming schedule would provide Afghanistan's players with valuable opportunities to compete across different formats.
“We are pleased to confirm this important period of international cricket for the Afghanistan National Team. Playing Bangladesh and Zimbabwe across different formats will provide our players with valuable competitive opportunities and offer our supporters an exciting period of international cricket,” he said.
