Polish President Explores Turkish Defense Industry at MSPO
(MENAFN) Polish President Karol Nawrocki visits the exhibition stands of Türkiye’s Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) and defense company Aselsan during the MSPO 2026 defense exhibition in Kielce, Poland.
SSB President Haluk Gorgun accompanies Nawrocki during the tour and provides information about Türkiye’s defense capabilities and ongoing cooperation between Türkiye and Poland.
Gorgun highlights the strong commitment and common vision shown by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Nawrocki toward strengthening bilateral relations.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, Gorgun also meets with senior officials from the UK and Poland to discuss defense and industrial cooperation.
His meetings include UK Minister for Defense Readiness and Industry Luke Pollard, Polish Deputy Minister of State Assets Konrad Golota, Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz, and Bartosz Grodecki, head of Poland’s National Security Bureau.
Gorgun says his discussion with Pollard focuses on potential opportunities for Turkish defense companies to contribute to the UK’s evolving procurement and defense-industrial strategy, as well as possibilities for developing technologies jointly.
